[origin: EP0932168A2] The transformer has a coaxial cable forming a primary- and a secondary winding, and at least one core (12) enveloping the windings. Each end of the cable is provided with a cable termination (8) which provides an electric insulation and controls the electric field, and which connects both conductors of the cable with a primary connection (9) and a secondary connection (10).
