[origin: WO9909239A1] The invention relates to a false twist texturing machine for texturing synthetic threads at processing points, a heat device and a false twist sub-assembly being located inside a false twist area at each processing point. A second heat device and a counter twist device are arranged in a reprocessing area. A residual twist in the thread left over from the false twist sub-assembly is removed by means of said counter twist device. To this end, the counter twist device is located in one plane with the second heat device so that the thread is essentially guided in a straight thread path.
