[origin: EP0933146A2] The method uses forces, partially directed onto the workpiece. Power introduction to a selected part of the work piece is retained for the period required to finish partial forming to selected contour. After removal of the forming force, the return force in the contour of the formed work piece section is absorbed by the work piece. During the process, alternating concave sole areas and convex crest areas are formed. The forming forces are absorbed by static forces generated in the surface structure.
