Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0933483A2] The insulating element is to fit between the building and a protruding outer part. A bearing element (6) is provided in the area of the protruding outer part to rest with force-transferring support on a section of the transverse force bar (4) which runs through and across the insulating body. The bar is angled upwards in the area of the protruding outer part after crossing under the bearing element and runs in the direction of the tie zone. The transverse force bar has a bending radius which is smaller than double the diameter of the bar.
