Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0933594A1] The tubular combustion chamber (2) has at least one air intake, a liquid fuel injector (6) situated on or close to its lengthwise axis (X-X'), and an outlet towards the turbine. The injector has a series of orifices (62) designed to give separate jets of fuel along the generating lines of a cone with a summit angle of 30 - 60 degrees. The chamber has two types of air intake situated close to one another - one (7) introducing an air flow in a spiral about the lengthwise axis, and the other (8) a tangential flow.
