Abstract (en)
The system uses a single circuit board to support all electronic control components. The electronic management system for an electric water heater and storage appliance comprises an electronic device (2-4) for thermostatic control and safety cut-out of the heating element. A cathode protection system (9-11) is provided for the container of the water heater, using an anode with a constant current supplied. A control (6-7) forms a switch for the resistance heater. The supply (1) for the appliance, the cathode protection system (9-11) and the control (6-7) are all mounted on a main electronic board which is attached either directly or indirectly to the container (C) of the water heater. The circuit may also include an electric battery ensuring a continuous supply of current for the cathode protection system.

Un dispositif de gestion électronique pour chauffe-eau électrique à accumulation comporte des moyens électroniques 2-4 de régulation thermostatique et de déclenchement en sécurité, des moyens de protection cathodique 9-11 de la cuve du chauffe-eau par anode à courant imposé, et des moyens 6, 7 formant contacteur d'alimentation de la résistance de chauffage du chauffe-eau électrique. <IMAGE>
