[origin: WO9838900A1] The invention relates to a dust filter bag (1) for a vacuum cleaner, preferably comprising a cardboard or paper holding plate (2) on which a dust bag (3) is glued and which has an opening (16), which can be hermetically sealed, for a vacuum cleaner tube. Said opening (16) can be sealed with a special sealing element (17) which can be moved from an open position to a closed position. The sealing element (17) which is located under the uppermost level (4) of the holding plate (2) has an edge which can be brought to rest against a stop (25) when in an open position. According to the invention, the stop (25) and the edge (29) can move freely in an open position in a clearance area of the uppermost level (4) in order to provide a dust filter bag (1) of the above-mentioned variety which is characterized by a movable element with increased functional security.
