[origin: WO9817082A1] The invention relates to plane heating devices for installations in buildings, an electric power generating device and a power supply device, as well as a method allowing at least one electric power generating and power supply device to be operated with at least one heating device. The plane heating device (1) is intended to be used in building installations, especially wall members (3) defining interiors (2) and consists of a multilayered, preferably transparent plane element (4) comprising one or more base members (5) made of glass, plastic or inorganic non-metallic building materials and one or more layers (6) disposed thereon. At least one of these layers (6) is embodied as an electroconducting layer(7). Electroconducting layer (7) consists of a central layer (21) and a marginal layer (22) surrounding central layer at least in specific areas. Thickness (24) of marginal layer (22) is greater than that (26) of central layer (21).
