[origin: EP0934713A1] Modular structure for metal shelves or the like, comprising: - at least an essentially vertical upright (4) presenting a front wall (6) wherefrom depart two side walls (7), within the front wall (6) being obtained a longitudinal groove (8) on whose bottom is positioned a plurality of slots (11) spaced and aligned to each other; - at least one bracket (14) presenting a bearing surface counter shaped with respect to a portion of the outer surface of the upright (4), presenting first latching tongues (19) able to be inserted into said slots (11) of the front wall (6), to couple removably the bracket (14) to the upright (4); wherein the side walls (7) present a plurality of pocket projections (12), open upwards, spaced and aligned to each other able to house second latching tongues (20) positioned on the brackets (14). <IMAGE>
