The engine has a cylinder liner with a coolant channel (9) on the outside, which extends to the ring flange (4). Cylinder liner (1) and scraper ring (13) are of the same material. The liner is centered in the crank casing (5) with the outside (12) of its ring flange. The piston (10) decreases in size in the section above the groove (17) for the upper cylinder ring.

Bei einem Verbrennungsmotor, insbesondere stationären Gasmotor, mit einem Kolben (10), der in einer Zylinderbüchse (1) läuft, welche innerhalb des Kurbelgehäuses (5) angeordnet ist und welche im Bereich ihres oberen, dem Zylinderkopf (2) benachbarten Randes einen Ringflansch (4) zur Abstützung im Kurbelgehäuse (5) in axialer Richtung aufweist, mit einem auf der Außenseite der Zylinderbüchse (1) verlaufenden Kühlflüssigkeitskanal (9) und mit einem an der Innenseite der Zylinderbüchse (1) im Bereich ihres oberen Randes angeordneten etwas über die Innenfläche (14) der Zylinderbüchse vorspringenden Schabering (13) zur Abschabung der Außenseite des Kolbens (10) im an die Stirnfläche (15) des Kolbens (10) angrenzenden Bereich ist der auf der Außenseite der Zylinderbüchse verlaufende Kühlflüssigkeitskanal (9) bis zum Ringflansch (4) geführt. <IMAGE>
