Abstract (en)
A firing mechanism for a large caliber weapon has the pin (16) on the end of a slug (4) pressed into the firing position by a spring. The slug is fitted with a lateral peg (6) which locates in a circular cam (8) with an inner profile and which is rotated by a servo drive powered by a servo motor (13). The cam turns through a full rotation for each firing cycle. The cam is shaped to first pull back the slug and then push the slug into a stable holding position. To fire the weapon the cam is rotated further by a small amount, releasing the slug. The rear of the slug is fitted with an eyelet (15) for attaching a manual firing line. The servo motor is electric.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verschluß für eine großkalibrige Rohrwaffe mit einer Abfeuervorrichtung, die einen federbeaufschlagten Schlagbolzen (4) umfaßt. Um zu erreichen, daß die Abfeuervorrichtung (1) des Verschlusses (2) einfach, kompakt und funktionssicher aufgebaut ist, schlägt die Erfindung vor, zur Steuerung des Bewegungsablaufes des Schlagbolzens (4) sowohl beim Spannen des Bolzens als auch beim Verschieben des Bolzens nach Erreichen der Abfeuerstellung in seine Ruhestellung eine Zwangssteuerung vorzusehen. Hierzu greift der Schlagbolzen (4) über einen Nocken (6) in die Steuerkurve (7) einer durch einen Fremdantrieb (13) betätigten Kurvenscheibe (8) ein. <IMAGE>
