[origin: EP0935177A1] Watch has a voltage regulator (25) connected between its generator (1) and controlling electronic circuits (11,12) such that the voltage output of the generator is between U1 and lower U2 voltage limits, where U1 is the maximum voltage required to ensure the hands rotate correctly and U2 the minimum voltage with which the circuits operate correctly. An optimum value for U1 is set by the wearer using the regulator taking into account the conditions under which it is being used.
