Abstract (en)
The arrangement has a transport mechanism for conveying the paper along a transport path and a detection device on the transport path (9). The detection device has two adjacent integrated optical modules (5,6) for scanning the notes (2) in two different wavelength regions. The optical modules are arranged with their longitudinal axes essentially parallel to each other and with their front panels facing the transport path slightly tilted wrt. each other.

Die Vorrichtung zum Prüfen von Wertpapieren, insbesondere von Banknoten, umfasst eine Transporteinrichtung zum Fördern der Wertpapiere (2) entlang eines Transportpfades (9) und eine am Transportpfad (9) angeordnete Erkennungseinrichtung (1). Die Erkennungseinrichtung (1) weist zwei nebeneinander angeordnete integrierte optische Module (5, 6) für die Abtastung der Wertpapiere (2) in zwei verschiedenen Wellenlängenbereichen auf. Die optischen Module (5, 6) sind mit ihren Längsachsen im wesentlichen parallel zueinander und dabei leicht gegeneinander gekippt angeordnet. Das optische Modul (5) erstreckt sich über eine ganze Breite des Transportpfades (9). Es umfasst mehrere in regelmässigen Abständen angeordnete Lichtquellen (12), eine grössere Anzahl von optischen Abbildungselementen (13) und mehrere optische Detektoren (14), wobei die Wertpapiere (2) an einer transparenten Frontplatte (10) des Moduls (5) vorbeigeführt werden. <IMAGE>
