Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0935228A1] The motor drive system provides a mechanical hoist by which the panels may be raised to their display position. The display panel includes an envelope (1) containing two friction rollers (2) controlled by a shaft (3) driven by a motor reducing gear (4). The motor is supplied by batteries (5), which may be rechargeable, and controlled by an electronic control circuit (6). The rollers contain a reserve of wire or webbing (7), with adjustable end-of-course stops (8). The assembly is suspended at the required height from hooks (9). The envelope has two magnets (10) attached to its outer surface, by which a removable advertising support (11) may be fastened to it.
