[origin: DE19645000A1] Disclosed is a method for coating adhesive surfaces of building or supporting elements, especially fastening elements (1), with hot-melt adhesives. According to said method the ready mixed adhesive is deposited in solid form on the adhesive surface and subjected to sufficient heat to make the adhesive melt after a slight pressure has been exerted thereon. In order to facilitate handling while adhesive is deposited it is useful to compress the adhesive into a thin slab (11) before depositing it on the adhesive surface in a powdered form corresponding to the shape of the adhesive surface.
