[origin: US5738218A] This is a container for the protection of an object during shipping. It is foldable (preferably from a single sheet) and forms a platform for supporting the object, which platform is separated from the exterior wall of the container by the use of at least one spacer panel attached to the edge of the support platform. The object is held firmly against the support platform in such a way that it too is spaced away from the container wall. Although the disclosed container may have open ends, it desirably has ends completing the enclosure that also fold from the beginning sheet.
