Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19643970A1] A method for transmitting signals in a network for point to multipoint connection. Individual station access to a transmission medium occurs through a DDM-TDMA process, whereby a multipoint station (ONU_1, ONU_2), when commissioned, transmits a calibration burst in a calibration window (4). When it is not needed, the calibration window is used to transmit useful asynchronous data (AD) from multipoint stations to a head station (OLT) in order to gain transmission capacity.
