[origin: EP0935934A2] An adjustable office chair is supported on the floor by a wheeled base section (10) with a telescopic vertical support (14) topped by a support structure (16) for a seat (20) and for support arms (24) for a seat back. The seat and the support arms have tilt adjustment about a common axis (22) to selected the most comfortable layout. The seat and/or the seat back are mounted on their respective supports using elastic intermediate layers for damping.
