Abstract (en)
The centrifuge has a rotor incorporating a holding chamber (5) within which a blood- bag is secured. The bag has a pressure chamber and a blood chamber. The novelty is that: (a) the pressure chamber (2) is arranged radially within the blood chamber (3); (b) the pressure chamber (2) and the blood chamber (3) are located within the holding chamber (5); (c) the pressure chamber (2) is pressurised to the required degree by a pressure-medium supplied through a rotary distributor.

Beschrieben wird eine Zentrifuge mit einem Rotor und mindestens einer darin vorhandenen Fixierkammer (5) zur Aufnahme eines Blutbeutels (1), wobei eine Blutkammer (3) une eine Druckkammer (2) vorgesehen sind, wobei die Druckkammer radial innerhalb der Blutkammer angeordnet ist. Es wird hierbei bevorzugt, einen Blutbeutel zu verwenden der neben einer Blutkammer auch eine Druckkammer aufweist. <IMAGE>
