Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0936034A2] The cutter and separator cut and separate segments (42) from a round object (11) especially vertically. A rotarily movable sickle (27) has at least one blade (27). The separator has at least one rotarily movable ejector arm (35) especially in the form of a star with four ejector arms the end of which has a top and or bottom surface (38). The object is rotated by a rotary slide piece (23). At least one outer side of the object has sprung guides, especially in the form of cylindrical rollers (18).
