Abstract (en)
The control assembly (10) for the access step (7) of the vehicle (4) has a control arm (12), an intermediate arm (11) and an extension arm (13) for extending or retracting the access step. The extension arm is made up of two half arms that are connected together and hinged at their ends. A spring (14) is held between a mounting attached to the vehicle chassis and the hinge point of the two half arms. The access step is hinged at its lower edge (O) and the two half arms are arranged to be locked by the spring as a brace when the access step is in the extended position.

La présente invention porte sur un dispositif de commande (10) d'une marche d'accès articulée (7) d'un véhicule (4), comportant un bras de commande (12), un bras intermédiaire (11) et un bras de sortie ou de rentrée (13) de la marche d'accès articulée (7). Le bras de sortie ou de rentrée (13) de ladite marche articulée (7) comporte deux demis bras solidaires entre eux et articulés par leur extrémités D se faisant face, ledit bras intermédiaire (11) étant monté à rotation par l'une de ses extrémités aux extrémités D desdits deux demis bras constituant ledit bras de sortie ou de rentrée (13) se faisant face, un ressort (14) étant maintenu par une extrémité à un élément de poutre fixé à la caisse du véhicule (4) et étant monté à rotation par son autre extrémité aux extrémités D desdits deux demis bras constituant ledit bras de sortie ou de rentrée (13) se faisant face, ladite marche (7) étant articulée à son extrémité basse O et lesdits deux demis bras constituant ledit bras de sortie ou de rentrée (13) étant susceptibles de s'arc-bouter sous l'effet dudit ressort (14) de manière à bloquer par arc-boutement ladite marche articulée (7) lorsqu'elle est en position sortie. <IMAGE>
