Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0936169A2] The distributor divides the signatures into a main and at least two part-streams (5,6). At least one pair (12) of signatures (2) is conveyed by an angled conveyor (3) from a main stream (30) at an angle into a direction at an angle to the original direction. Another conveyor conveys the pair of signatures into another direction. A side stage is between the two pairs of signatures. The deflector (40) conveys the signature into the first part-stream after the side stage has been made. The angled conveyor has a top (16) conveyor belt with conveyor elements (17) and a bottom belt.
