Verfahren zur Wärmebehandlung metallischer Deckel von Dosen, Büchsen od.dgl. Behältern, bei dem eine Sollbruchstelle des Deckels, die durch ein ihren Werkstoff auf einen Teil seiner Dicke reduzierendes Zusammenpressen hergestellt ist, mit Laserstrahlung über die Rekristallisationstemperatur ihres Werkstoffs erwärmt wird. Mit dem Verfahren wird erreicht, daß die Kraft zum Öffnen der Sollbruchstelle bzw. zum Herausziehen zumindest eines Teils des Dosendeckels erheblich reduziert werden kann. <IMAGE>
