Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0936319A2] The cleaning body for pipelines, sewage pipes and the like, has a polygonal cast body (1) with a connection for water under pressure. A water distributor is at the water inlet (16) in a dome shape or on a dividing plane (3), with entry openings as partial circular segments forming a blade-shaped intermediate wall across the flow direction. Water pressure channels (8), leading out from the entry openings, are free of edges and offer a low resistance to the water, in a virtually circular cross section and the largest possible deflection radius. The water channels (8) have a fixed number of outlets (11), give a single or multiple water branch system, and narrow towards the ends (13) of the water channels directly at the outlets.
