An insulating material element (1), especially for the thermal insulation of building facades and for use in laminar thermal insulation systems, consists of a plate-shaped element made of concrete containing pores. The concrete density is 75-250 kg/m<3> and it has a thermal conductivity of 0.003-0.005 W/mK. Its surface has a strength-enhancing coating.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Dämmstoffelement, insbesondere zur Wärmedämmung von Gebäudefassaden und zur Verwendung in Wärmedämmverbund-Systemen. Um die Bruchfestigkeit derartiger Dämmstoffelemente zu verbessern und eine höhere Abriebfestigkeit der Oberflächen zu erzielen, ist ein Dämmstoffelement aus einem plattenförmigen Element aus Porenbeton mit einer Rohdichte von 75 bis 250 kg/m<3> und einer Wärmeleitfähigkeit zwischen 0,030 bis 0,050 W/mK vorgesehen, dessen zumindest eine große Oberfläche mit einer festigkeitserhöhenden und haftvermittelnden Beschichtung versehen ist. <IMAGE>
