Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0936409A2] The safety device (24) for maintaining a flow of flue gas out of the heater is provided with a first connection (26) for a flue gas pipe (18) from the heater, and a second connection (30) for the chimney. The two connections are positioned in different horizontal planes. The safety device is activated when a buildup of flue gas is registered by a sensor in the flue gas outlet region of the heater. An Independent claim is also included for a heater fitted with this flue gas removal arrangement, containing a heat exchanger and fan-assisted burner.
