[origin: EP0936643A2] The switch arrangement has at least one rotary switch behind a screen (14) and an actuating knob (22) which can be slid through an opening (28) in the screen relative to the switch and wrt. a theoretical rotation axis between protruding and retracted axial positions. The knob can be rotated when in the outer axial position. The periphery of the knob section which can be moved through the opening has unequal radial distances from the axis and the edge of the opening can have matching unequal distances, so that the knob only fits in the opening in a null position.
