[origin: DE19739150A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve, comprising a valve housing (2) and a plastic extrusion coat (38) which at least partly surrounds the valve housing (2). The invention provides for sealing elements (45) on the outer circumference of the fuel injection valve for sealing said fuel injection valve in relation to a fuel rail, suction pipe or such like. Each of the sealing elements (45) is at least partly in level contact with the surface of the plastic extrusion coat (38). Said sealing elements (45) are injected against the plastic extrusion coat (38) or injected into recesses (55, 58) of said plastic extrusion coat (38). The fuel injection valve is especially suited for use in fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignited internal combustion engines.
