Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19644758A1] The present invention relates to a self-centring arrangement of microstructured elements, especially microoptical components on one substrate used as a support. It is a well-known method to fit microoptical components with parts by inserting same into recesses intended for that purpose. The present invention aims at improving the orientation of the components (K1, K2) relative to each other in such a way that inserting attachable parts (Z1, Z2) in said recesses (A) results in a distortion which can affect either the attached parts and the recesses or a formed material located between the attached parts and the recesses. The distortion improves the self-centring features and enables the manufacturing tolerance to be better compensated. When the module cannot be fitted with an appropriate attachable part, an intermediate support is used, e.g. a plastic body manufactured according to the LIGA technology.
