The housing (24) for the saw-blade (14) is open at the bottom and contains a feeder for the workpiece being sawn. The feeder consists of two adjustably spaced apart feeder elements on both sides of the saw blade, consisting of two driven carrier belts (34). The drive motor (40) on the housing has a motor shaft with drive shaft (30) shared by both carrier belts. The housing is suspended by a linked parallelogram (26) from a rigid holder (18,20).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schutzhaube für eine Kreissäge mit einem nach unten offenen Gehäuse (24), welches das Sägeblatt (14) abdeckt. In dem Gehäuse (24) ist eine Vorschubeinrichtung für das zu sägende Werkstück angebracht, die beispielsweise aus zwei angetriebenen Mitnehmerriemen (34) besteht. Das Gehäuse (24) ist über Gelenkparallelogramme (26) vertikal verstellbar an einem starren Halter (18, 20) aufgehängt. <IMAGE>
