Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0937670A1] A rotating feeder drum (2) draws the stacked printed products singly from a magazine (4). The printed product is partially lifted from the stack by means of a separator (9) and is placed with an edge which may be grasped. A pickup appliance (11) transfers the printed product from the separator. The pickup appliance is formed by at least one swivel pickup arm (12). A cam drive connected to a close guide track positioned on a vertical plane to the pivot axis (3). The movable pickup arm is connected to a double-roller lever (20) circulating in two closed tracks (18,19) around the feeder drum's (2) pivot axle on at least one vertical plane. The pivot axle is parallel with an axle (14).
