Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19802663A1] One of the glass panes projects all round over the other with an overhang and the two panes are connected sealed together by a spacer frame (4) to form an insulated glass panel. A circumferential profiled socket (8) has an arm (10) connected to the inner edge of the larger pane as well as a connecting face (9) for fitments. The profiled socket (8) is fixedly connected to a heat barrier profiled section (23) which engages over the edge of the smaller pane. The circumferential outer sleeve face of the spacer frame defines with the opposing edge areas of the facing insides of the two glass panes a channel which opens towards the pane circumference. The part of the profiled socket (8) enclosing an insert groove (21) for the heat barrier section is covered together with the inserted heat barrier section (23) by the overhang of the larger pane.
