Abstract (en)
The apparatus to apply a heat treatment to continuous materials (1) has an infrared radiator module (7) which is located in the section over the assembly (2) for air blowing and suction within the assembly (2). Coolant air (11,12) is taken from the infrared units (8) in the module (7), to be collected and injected into the air blowers (4) to give heated air without using external heating. Fresh air is preheated by passing it through the infrared radiator module (7), and coolant air is chilled by a heat exchanger (13), where extracted air from the blowing/suction assembly (2) is also passed through. The extracted air contains water and other evaporated products for evacuation.

Le dispositif concerne le traitement thermique, notamment le séchage, de matériaux en feuille tels que papiers ou films ou produits textiles, ou encore produits en feuille métalliques, défilant en continu. Ce dispositif comporte au moins un module de rayonnement infrarouge (7), comportant des émetteurs infrarouges (8) de type électrique, et un ensemble (2) de soufflage et d'aspiration d'air, traversé par le matériau en feuille (1). Le module infrarouge (7) est incorporé dans la partie amont de l'ensemble (2) de soufflage et d'aspiration, à l'intérieur de cet ensemble (2). On améliore ainsi le rendement thermique global du dispositif, tout en réduisant fortement sa longueur. <IMAGE>
