[origin: EP0938928A2] The shower (1) has a shower head (2) containing a replaceable cartridge (6). This forms units for water guidance, water distribution, jet generation, and jet formation. The cartridge can be replaced by cartridges with different functions. The water outlet face (8) of the shower is formed by the underside of the cartridge. This is surrounded by an outer ring (9), which is turnably adjustable relative to the shower head housing (4). The cartridge is fastened via a screw or lock connection, or a bayonet closure.
