Abstract (en)
The components are manufactured from aluminum tubes or open rolled profiles. The flat band semifinished material is selectively rolled by rollers across its width and over its length, to achieve a material thickness necessary for the final wall thickness. This takes place before forming the material into a closed tubular or open profile, and is based on calculating the required wall thickness of a finished part. The thickness of the semifinished material is chosen, so that together with an increase in material thickness generated by forming in the areas next to the rolled sections, the thickness of the final component is achieved.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Karosserie- und Fahrwerkteilen für Fahrzeuge aus längsnahtverschweißten Aluminiumrohren oder offenen Walzprofilen beschrieben. Dazu wird ein flachbandförmiges planes Halbzeug in einem kontinuierlichen Prozeß zuerst anhand von Ermittlungen oder Berechnungen der benötigten Wanddicken der entgültigen Karosserie- und Fahrwerkteile mittels Walzen selektiv über seiner Breite auf die für die benötigten Wanddicken erforderliche Materialdicke umgeformt. Danach wird das Material mittels ein Rohrprofil oder offenes Profil formender Walzen in ein geschlossenes rohrförmiges Profil oder offenes Profil umgeformt. Im Falles eines rohrförmigen Profils werden die seitlichen Kanten des ursprünglichen planen Halbzeugs längs miteinander verschweißt und anschließend die Schweißnaht entgratet. Schließlich erfolgt eine Feinkalibrierung des Rohrprofils oder offenen Profils mittels Kalibrierwalzen. <IMAGE>
