[origin: EP1149791A2] A print machine has a proof extraction unit with a sheet lifter (16) over the paper stack (1) and a sheet motion end-stop (3). The end-stop (3) can swivel between a first position (I) against the stack (1) into a second position (II) with a supplementary end-stop (11), to a third position (III) from which the proof may be extracted. The second position (II) is variable as required.
