The open-end spinner has a cover (10) which slides in a mounting bracket (22) through a locking/unlocking unit (20). During spinning, the locking bolt (23) is held in position at the spinning box housing (2) by force at the mounting points (34) of the spinning box housing (2). The locking bolts (23), with rotational symmetry, have mounting shoulders (29) at the ends which are positioned in mounting shells (30) in the closing cheeks (31) of the spinning box housing (2). Springs (24) within the mounting brackets (22) apply a force on the locking bolts (23), on a withdrawal direction. Both locking bolts (23) are coupled to a gearing assembly (25, 25', 26), operated together by a lever (27) to move into place. The lever (27) can only be operated when the cover (10) is open.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Offenend-Spinnvorrichtung (1) mit einem Spinnrotor (17), der mit seinem Rotorschaft (8) in den Keilspalten einer Stützscheibenlagerung (5) gelagert ist und dessen Spinntasse (17) mit hoher Drehzahl in einem besaugbaren, nach vorne offenen Rotorgehäuse (6) umläuft. Das Rotorgehäuse (6) ist durch ein schwenkbar gelagertes und bei Bedarf lösbar angeordnetes Deckelelement (10), welches eine Faserbandauflöseeinrichtung aufweist, verschließbar. Erfindungsgemäß weist das Deckelelement (10) eine Ver- und Entriegelungseinrichtung (20), mit definiert ansteuerbaren Verriegelungsbolzen (23) auf, die in Lagerkonsolen (22) des Deckelelementes (10) verschiebbar gelagert sind. Die Verriegelungsbolzen (23) fassen während des Spinnbetriebes in Lagerstellen (34) am Spinnboxgehäuse (2). Das Deckelelement (10) ist dabei im Bedarfsfall durch entsprechende Betätigung der Ver- und Entriegelungseinrichtung (20) leicht vom Spinnboxgehäuse (2) abnehmbar. <IMAGE>
