[origin: EP0939153A1] The spinning assembly for synthetic filaments has a feed for the spun and drawn filaments at the false twisting station. The filaments are fed directly into the first feed rollers (3) at the false twister, on leaving the spinning/drawing stage. The false twisting stage is divided into two groups with a set number of stations. Each group is positioned side by side on a symmetrical plane to form a longitudinal channel. The filament feed is from a spinning assembly (15), to deliver a number of filaments for processing from a position over the frame. The drawing unit (16) is at the end of the longitudinal channel. The extruded and drawn filaments (2) are drawn by the feed rollers (3) into the false twisting zone from two drawing rollers (22), at the bottom of the machine structure, so that the filaments (2) follow an upwards and vertical path to the false twisting feed rollers. The false twisting system can also be fed with a filament from bobbins mounted to a creel or bobbin pin board.
