Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0939173A1] A horizontal fleece layer with fibers parallel to the large surfaces (4) is arranged so that the fibers are formed into fleece layer sections parallel to each other and the previous large surfaces lie adjacent to each other and are joined together. End areas of the fleece layer sections with fibers not aligned to the large surface are removed after passing through a curing oven and the final fleece is cut into insulation panels (1). An Independent claim is made for the panel (1) with fibers at a right angle to the length of the panel.
