Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0939380A1] The arrangement has switching pinions on an axle inside the periphery of the meter rollers, with which a lower value roller turns a higher value roller through one number of scale division at the end of a revolution. The arrangement for contactless and non-loading read-out of the positions of the meter rollers (21,25) has radially mounted light barriers (43,52).
