[origin: WO9823837A1] The invention relates to a door actuating system comprising an electric motor (14) actuating a door wing (12) which can be moved in relation to a fixed support (10), a gear unit (28, 30) which converts the output torque of the electric motor (14) into a sliding movement of the door wing, and an operating state control unit (80', 110, 112) connected to the electric motor (14). Said gear unit has an advancing member (28) working according to the endless umbilical screw principle. The advancing member (28) is connected to the door wing support (12) and interacts with a shaft (30) driven by the electric motor (14). The operating state control unit is connected to an advancement detection unit (120) converting the sliding movement and/or the relative position of the door wing to the support (10) into a first electrical signal. Said control unit is configured in such a way as to control the electric motor according to the first electrical signal.
