The template (1) is made of metal to be directly placed on a glass pane. the template and glass are subjected to sandblasting so that the surface is matted by the abrasive effect of the sand. The template can be made of plastics, wood or a similar material. The glass can be flat or hollow and can be a mirror surface. The template can be used also for wood, plastics metal or leather.

Beim Bemustern von Glas ist es üblich, das Muster mit Hilfe von ausgeschnittenen Folien mit Farbe oder Sandstrahlen auf das Glas aufzubringen. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, den Arbeitsvorgang zu verkürzen und das Verfahren zu vereinfachen. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß an sich bekannte Schablonen (Fig. 1, 3) aus Metall, Kunststoff, Holz oder einem ähnlichen Material verwendet werden, die wiederverwendbar sind. Das zu bemusternde Glas kann Glas in verschiedener Form (Fig. 2, 3) oder auch ein anderer Werkstoff, z.B. Holz, Kunststoff, Metall oder Leder, sein. <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
