Abstract (en)
The yarn clamp, for the inserted wefts at a loom, has a free zone (5) to hold the yarn (4) between a projection (2) and a recess (3) when the clamp is closed. The projection (2) has an edge (8) to retain the yarn. The projection, at one section of the clamp, grips in the recess at the other clamp section. The cross section of the projection has a sawtooth or claw shape and recessed laterally at the peak. The clamp is shaped at or mounted to a base body. The projections can be plate units, at intervals on a carrier with the projections and recesses facing each other, with elasticity in the projections to allow them to distort.

Die Fadenklemme weist zusammenwirkende Klemmabschnitte mit Erhöhungen (2) und Vertiefungen (3) auf, die quer zur Einlegerichtung des von der Fadenklemme festzuhaltenden Fadens (4) verlaufen. Bei geschlossener Klemme ist zwischen den Erhöhungen (2) und den Vertiefungen (3) jeweils ein Freiraum (5) zur Aufnahme eines Fadens (4) vorgesehen und die Erhöhungen (2) weisen eine Kante (8) zum Zurückhalten des Fadens auf. Durch die Schaffung eines Freiraumes wird der Faden einer Knickwirkung und durch die Kante einer Kerbwirkung ausgesetzt, deren Zusammenwirken einen sicheren Halt für den Faden gewährleistet. <IMAGE>
