A toilet bowl cleaner has outlet openings arranged opposite one another in alternating sequence with spacer webs in different planes along the separation line of the two cleaner halves (26, 28) such that, independently of the flushing water level in the cleaner housing (10), at least one outlet opening is constantly provided for the agent dissolved by the flushing water.
