[origin: EP0940547A2] At least one horizontal frame (10) is composed of two part components (18,20), of which the first (18) is connected with the side frame. A second part component (20) having a stop strip (28) for the fire protection door is fixed via intended breakpoints (42) formed as point connections to the first part component. The point connections, preferably through embossment, engage on an edge (44) of pressed-out formations (48) forming the second part component (20). The part components partly overlap and the point connections are formed on the edge (44) of an overlapping area (24) of the second part component (20) locating on the first part component (18).
