Abstract (en)

The cooking oven, with a high temp. self-cleaning function, has an oven lining (3) which can be heated, and its open front side cross section is covered by the oven door (9). A flat shrouding (19) is fitted to the oven lining (3) or the oven door (9) in a release mounting for removal. It covers the free cross section of the oven lining opening, and reduces the heat flow from the oven lining to the oven door. The shrouding (19) is an oven accessory, such as a drip pan or baking tray, which is used as a door shrouding, when the oven is cleaned by the use of high temps. of ≥ 150 degrees C and especially ≥ 300 degrees C.

Gargerät mit Mitteln zur pyrolytischen Selbstreinigung, mit einer beheizbaren Backofenmuffel (3), deren freier, frontseitiger Öffnungsquerschnitt durch eine Backofentür (9) verschließbar ist, dadurch, daß ein flächiges Abschirmelement (19;31;41;51) vorgesehen ist, das zum Pyrolysebetrieb an der Backofenmuffel (3) oder der Backofentür (9) einfach abnehmbar befestigt ist und sich zumindest über im wesentlichen den freien Öffnungsquerschnitt der Backofenmuffel erstreckt, wodurch der Wärmetransport aus der Backofenmuffel zur Backofentür verringert ist. <IMAGE>
