[origin: EP0940633A2] The vapor extraction hood has two radial fans (14,16) and two flaps (60,62) which pivot on vertical swing axes (61,63), and have air guide extensions (66,68). The flaps (60,62) are moved between a setting where air is extracted to the rear of the shrouding hood as an exhaust, or to the front for air recirculation.
