Abstract (en)
The ultrasonic transducer device has an ultrasonic transducer with a piezoceramic disk (2) and an adaptive layer disk (1). The transducer is partly embedded in a housing (3) by means of a polymer foam material (5). The adaptive layer disk (1) is centred at its circumferential surface by a foam moulding (4). This is preferably in the form of a ring against which the circumference of the disk lies. The moulding (4) may be bonded to the ultrasound wave emitting surface of the adaptor layer disk (1). The moulding (4) may be made from a foam with a closed cell structure.

Die erfindungsgemäße Ultraschallwandlereinrichtung weist einen Ultraschallwandler aus einer Piezokeramikscheibe (2) und einer Anpaßschichtscheibe (1) auf, die zumindest teilweise in einem Gehäuse (3) mittels eines Polymer-Schaumstoffs (5) eingebettet sind. Die Anpaßschichtscheibe (1) ist an ihrer Umfangsfläche durch ein Schaumstoff-Formteil (4) zentriert, das sich kostengünstig vorfertigen läßt und zudem die frontseitige Sichtfläche der Ultraschallwandlereinrichtung optisch nicht beeinträchtigt. <IMAGE>
