[origin: WO9823295A1] The invention provides a method for contrast enhanced imaging of at least part of the lymphatic system of a human or animal body which comprises administering a diagnostically effective contrast agent to said body and generating a contrast enhanced image of at least part of the lymphatic system of said body, characterised in that said agent is a water-soluble polymeric material having a molecular weight of at least 1kD and is administered indirectly but parenterally.
