[origin: WO9916624A1] The invention relates to a manual seal with a self-inking device, comprising a turning mechanism (10) for a type unit that is arranged inside a housing (1) and has an axis of rotation. Said axis of rotation (9) extends along slots (24) in the housing (1), their ends being arranged in limbs (8) of an actuating stirrup (2) guided in the housing (1). The ends of the axis of rotation (9) are fixed with locking elements to prevent axial displacement. For easy assembling and disassembling of the axis of rotation (9) and to stabilize it both in axial and radial direction, the invention provides that at least one shaped body (12) serving as a locking member can be snapped on at least one limb (8) of the actuating stirrup (2) in a groove (11) of the limb (8) and that the axis of rotation (9) is partially arranged in the limb (8) and the shaped body (12).
